This is another version of Aircombat. There are two types of Squadron or Team Aircombat.
1. NON-SPECIFIC. We've done this in the UK at the BULLDOG Challenge. You just hold a normal meeting, but decide who is flying in which Squadron. Normally there are about 5-6 squadrons. At the end of the flying. the squadron scores are worked out, leaving one squadron as the winner. Normal rules apply. Note that you fly completely as normal, that is, still Everyone versus Everyone.
2. SPECIFIC. This is where you fly with your own squadron members against another squadrons. The rules here are slightly different from "Normal" Combat. ACES Germany has generated a draft set of rules, and is holding one or two contests. Hopefully, we'll also have some in the UK, and internationally. As an example, in each heat, there are ideally six aircraft, 3 for one squadron (Flying with RED streamers), and 3 for the other squadron (flying with YELLOW streamers). The major rule differences are:-
1.When your streamer is cut, you must land immediately.
2. Only 15 sized engines allowed, and no twins.
In this flying, you must be careful about what you attack. You can easily shoot down one of your own squadrom members in the heat of the moment. Depending on how it is arranged, you may only have the colour of the streamers to be able to tell friend or foe apart, or possibly the enemy squadron is flying all the same type of aircraft, so you can recognise him from his outline. Below is a table showing some examples of the possible available configurations. The best case (for both ease of friend/foe recognition, and realism, is given on the top row, etting progressively worse as you go down each row.

The following table shows possible aircraft for use. The rules state that you can only use a 15 size engine.
However, 21 (Yellow) and 25 size (Purple) aircraft have been built light, and fitted with a 15 size engine, and still are
competitive. There are 21 and 25 sizes included, that could be used with a 15 size engine.
Biplanes and aircraft with fixed undercarriage are not listed but are also a possibility.
